Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DevPin (the "Service"), operated by DevPin ("we", "us"). By creating an account or embedding the DevPin widget, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

1. What the Service does

DevPin lets people leave point-and-click feedback on a web page. You embed a script on a site you control; reviewers you invite submit feedback ("pins"), which we store and present in your dashboard, along with technical context captured from the reviewer's browser.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.
• You are responsible for the people you invite as reviewers or team members.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Embed the widget on a site you do not own or have permission to instrument.
• Use the Service to collect passwords, payment card data, health records, or other sensitive personal data.
• Attempt to break, overload, or circumvent limits on the Service, or access another customer's data.
• Upload unlawful content, malware, or anything infringing someone else's rights.

We apply automated abuse limits to feedback submission. These are set well above normal human use and exist to protect the Service.

4. Your content

You own the feedback, screenshots, and other content submitted through your projects ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display it solely to operate the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

Where you enable the optional AI features, the relevant pin content is sent to our AI provider to generate a suggested task. That content is not used to train their models under our agreement with them.

5. Plans and payment

• The Free plan includes one project. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe.
• Reviewers and pins are unlimited on every plan. We do not charge per seat.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or that we are legally required to suspend. On termination we delete Your Content in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
